Job Purpose

As a Sales Intern, you will be an integral part of our sales team, contributing to the growth and success of our company. This position is designed for competitive individuals who seek a comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle within the motive power industry. You will gain hands-on experience in customer engagement, lead generation, and closing deals, all while being supported and empowered by our experienced sales professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of our sales strategies and processes, from prospecting to closing and post-sale follow-up.
  • Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to support sales strategies.
  • Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential clients, contributing to the sales pipeline.
  • Engage with prospects and clients through various channels (e.g., phone, email, social media) to understand their needs and present our solutions.
  • Provide support in creating sales presentations, proposals, and other sales enablement tools.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, leads, and outcomes, contributing to sales team efficiency. 
     

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a sales, business, marketing, or related field.
  • Strong interest in the energy, industrial, supply chain, and logistics industries.
  • Competitive, with a drive to learn and excel in a sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with remote work and utilizing digital communication tools.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
