Job Purpose

Support the implementation of Quality mindset to the entire project teams, guiding the team to identify potential failures in an earlier stages of product development utilizing Quality tools. Support the identification of project risks and required actions to mitigate them and problem solving focusing on effective and robust technical solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Drive the Quality mindset within project teams.

2. Assure Preventive Quality processes are followed for New Projects.

3. Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure the proper application during project execution in accordance with the contract requirements, and to the Enersys processes

4. Drive project teams to flawless project execution using the risk assessment process to manage priorities and collaboration of cross functional teams.

5. Ensure quality of the modifications made during the project

6. Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits

7. Identify opportunities for improvements within the Project life cycle process.

8. Develop, implement, and monitor Quality KPIs

9. Conduct product and process audits as defined in the project quality assurance plan

10. Participate in NPI phase gate reviews to ensure quality requirements are met

11. Manage Non-conformities and Quality issues and drive problem solving activities during project execution phase to reduce the costs of non-quality

12. Coordinate and manage PPAP dossiers in preparation for series production

13. Prepare and issue weekly Quality Status Report for new projects

14. Attend and moderate Design and Process FMEA

15. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

· Problem solving

· System Engineering

· Core Quality Tools (APQP, Control plan, FMEA, PPAP, MS, SPC)

· V development lifecycle

· Knowledge of quality standards (ISO9001, ASPICE, VDA, IATF …)

· Good verbal and written communication skills in English

· Be a team player and have the ability to collaborate well across diverse functional groups

Education and/or Experience

- Holder of Management/Engineering diploma (Engineer, Master) Generalist or Industrial Engineering, electronics, electrical, quality, or similar

- At least 5 years of experience in the design or manufacturing environment with a good understanding of project and product life cycle from conception to obsolescence
