Job Purpose

Drive the continuous development of Quality mindset focused on zero defect. Drive the preventive Quality process mindset with project teams. Manage project risks and problem solving focusing on effective and robust technical solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Drive the Quality mindset within project teams.
  2. Develop and Implement Preventive Quality processes within New Projects.
  3. Drive project teams to flawless project execution using the risk assessment process to manage priorities and collaboration with cross functional teams.
  4. Develop and implement project Quality plan based on APQP process.
  5. Coach and train co-workers on Quality methods and tools.
  6. Manage project teams to follow NPI and Quality procedures.
  7. Develop, implement and monitor KPIs
  8. Support development of new components/parts with suppliers, drive for excellence in quality.
  9. Coordinate and drive Problem solving activities within the projects.
  10. Develop and implement Safe launch process for new product introduction based on risk assessment
  11. Coordinate and manage PPAP dossiers in preparation for series production

  • Applied Quality experience with APQP
  • Basic technical knowledge with Lithium products and systems
  • Basic technical knowledge with energy management systems and components 
  • Experience with problem solving, specifically with electronic components
  • Experience with Supplier development process

Preferred Requirements

  • Lithium-ion systems, modules and components     
  • Six Sigma
  • Certified auditor
  • Energy systems and power management
  • Software validation process
  • Functional Safety

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Science – Electrical or Electronics engineering
  • Master degree is a deferential

TRAVEL REQUIRED: approximately 25-30%
