Job Purpose

The Salesforce Business Administrator serves as a liaison between EnerSys’ business customers and the technical development team. In addition to being a liaison, this resource will also be the Delegated Administrator for the platform. This person must demonstrate a strong ability to analyze business requirements, and to work with business leadership to prioritize the differing requests from the organization to develop and deliver a scalable and sustainable product. The scope of work for this individual covers all stages of an initiative, from requirements gathering through testing and training. This person will report to the salesforce program manager and will work with business stakeholders from all SBUs.The Salesforce Business Administrator serves as a liaison between EnerSys’ business customers and the technical development team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct end user support for EnerSys’ Salesforce environment 
  • Perform Salesforce administrator functions for both global and regional teams
  • Participate in maintaining an implemented global platform design while maintaining local regional requirements
  • Represent the business, inclusive of all SBUs, in regular team and governance sessions
  • Work with regional BPOs to gather and prioritize new requirements from all Lines of Business 
  • Ensure compliance with security policy through profiles, roles and permission sets 
  • Collaborate with people and groups from all aspects of the EnerSys organization. Examples include sales reps and customer service
  • Maintain data according to defined best practices
  • Collaborate with business partners to document business requirements
  • Develop and manage Salesforce dashboards, reports, forms, and templates
  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of new or existing functionality 
  • Recommend changes in product, process and service improvement and presents high-level benefits of recommendation and explains rationale for selection over alternative solutions 
  • Create training documents
  • Demonstrate and train Salesforce functionality for internal and external customers and users 
  •  Identify and communicate new business opportunities and gaps to target 
  • Facilitate effective knowledge transfer and proactive collaboration to drive success and efficiency in global sales 
  • Design and generate reports and statistics that support better decision making and process improvement within the organization - including sales forecasting, win/loss analysis, market trend analysis, etc. 
  • Work with business leadership, BPOs and SMEs to provide best practices and tips on Salesforce usage including training, documentation, and support as necessary

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must maintain sufficient business and technical expertise so as to be comfortable communicating business and technical requirements.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Flexible and able to quickly act under pressure
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Proven ability to conduct effective meetings and presentations
  • Strong technical aptitude, and high-level interest in internet technologies
  • Experience with full system development life cycle methods for developing business software solutions.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving experience to deal with complex business problems. This includes risk definition, establishing quality controls, and implementation solutions
