This position will be focusing primarily on our Motive Power applications, which include industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks, rail equipment, mining equipment, and airline ground support equipment. Some of the motive power brands include Hawker, Ironclad, General Battery, and Fiamm. Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.

 

Job Purpose

The position will focus on content creation whilst collaborating with the EMEA Sales and Service teams, wider MP Marketing teams, external agencies, and other service providers. The position will also be heavily involved in adhoc marketing projects, including creation and delivery of promotional marketing materials and communications activities and will be expected to support, plan and attend domestic and international trade fairs, satellite events, conferences as and when required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute marketing activities.
  • Develop and maintain content and communications for marketing campaigns, activities and events.
  • Plan and prepare application-focused content specifically for publication and sharing across different media channels, including social media posts, email, guides, brochures, newsletters, and merchandise.
  • Drive campaigns through various communication systems and tools.
  • Attend domestic and international trade fairs, satellite events, conferences. 
  • To provide support towards all aspects of content and digital marketing, including: Social Media, Intranet and Web to include the development and scalability of digital platforms, maintenance programs and asset management tools. This position must plan, execute and deliver activities in accordance with business needs and guidelines, focusing on Marketing ROI, KPIs and achieving targets.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3-years’ experience working within a Content or Marketing role and ideally within European markets. Content Marketing experience would be an added benefit.

Relevant product and industry knowledge would be a benefit but is not essential.Excellent spoken and written English is expected, as a minimum. At least one major European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish or Russian) is a benefit, but not essential.

Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation skills are essential.

Must be able to communicate at all levels within business and adapt their approach depending on the audience.

Experience in all aspects of developing and delivering content marketing plans is essential.

Strong attention to detail with good editing skills. Proficiency with programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.

The candidate must understand on a basic level, a wide range of digital communication tools, CMS basic knowledge and social media platforms.

Basic knowledge of graphic design software (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) to be able to execute basic changes to marketing materials is desirable.
