Job Purpose

As the EMEA & APAC Credit Manager, you’ll take ownership of credit risk, accounts receivable performance, and collections strategy across two regions. You will be responsible for driving process excellence, mitigating financial risk, and supporting business growth through strong credit governance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead credit evaluation and approval processes for customers across EMEA & APAC.
Set and manage credit limits based on risk assessment, trade history, financial analysis and market trends.
Monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and drive continuous improvement in working capital.
Monitor regional receivables and proactively manage high-risk accounts.
Collaborate with commercial and legal teams to resolve disputes and recover debt.
Develop and enforce credit policies aligned with global best practices and local regulations.
Coordinate cross-region initiatives to standardize and optimize credit and collections practices.
Support monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting processes.
Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and support internal/external audits.
Lead, mentor and develop credit team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (MBA or equivalent a plus).
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in credit management, preferably in a multinational environment.
Demonstrated experience managing credit and collections teams across EMEA and/or APAC regions
Solid knowledge of financial statement analysis, risk evaluation, and credit insurance.
Strong understanding of international trade terms, credit insurance, and risk mitigation tools.
Strong Excel and reporting skills, ERP experience (SAP) is a plus.
Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to EMEA or APAC regions are a plus.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
