Job Title:  Tendering Engineer (hybrid schedule)

Job Purpose

Energy Systems focuses on the manufacture and sale of batteries and electronic systems for the Telecommunication & Broadband, Utility industries, Renewable and Data centre applications that require stored energy solutions.

We are looking for Tendering Engineer to provide customers with product quotations, technical support, general product information, battery sizing and assistance with system support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creation of quotations in line with customer requirement

Complete battery sizings from customer specifications using battery sizing program and discharge tables.

Coordination of tenders to ensure successful bids,

Answering customer queries with regards leadtimes, product queries,

Supporting customer with technical queries regarding batteries and systems

Monitoring and maintaining project database

Completion of Salesforce opportunities to ensure tracking of quotes by Salesmen leads to successful bids.

Responding to sales inquiries and concerns by phone and electronically,

Ensuring customer service satisfaction and good client relationships, 

Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications;

Understand competitor products in order to ensure we have the right offerings from our portfolio to enable quotations are converted into orders.

Customer visits accompanying salesmen to build relationships with customers.

Maintenance of customer requests for access to the battery sizing program.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronics knowledge would be an advantage.
• Good technical understanding of battery, power and services within the industrial sectors is preferable but not essential.
• Willingness to self-educate.
• Good English (m.in. B2)
• French or German as the second language welcome
