Compensation Range: $17 - $22/ hour

Job Purpose

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components of EnerSys' product family as part of the manufacturing process.  This role will perform the assembly activity in accordance with assembly drawings, internal guidelines and specifications, and standard workmanship recommendations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble and Inspect unit following work instruction, drawing and schematics
  • Crimping lugs on wires and following wiring procedures
  • Building and interconnecting final assemblies and sub-assemblies using production drawings
  • Obtaining parts and supplies using proper procedures
  • Completing paperwork as required and all tasks assigned by supervisor

 

Qualifications

  • 2 years related experience  
  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs (assisted)
  • Quality Inspection Experience
  • Knowledge of proper soldering techniques
  • Experience crimping lugs on wires
  • Ability to follow wiring procedures
  • Ability to recognize wire type and gauge
  • Ability to safely operate small hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in all phases of assembly

  • Able to identify hardware type, length and size
