Compensation Range: $62,000-75,000 CAD

Job Purpose

Alpha Technologies, an EnerSys company, is currently looking for an experienced Fulfilment Planner to join our manufacturing operations in Burnaby.

The Fulfilment Planner will oversee the coordination of all relevant activities with Order Management, Purchasing, and Production Schedulers to ensure sales orders (purchased and manufactured) are shipped on time. The Fulfilment Planner will align available materials and order due dates prior to order confirmation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Take ownership of cross-functional activities needed to ensure on time delivery. Examples include:  coordination of multi-site warehouses, mini NPI product launches, processing delays, and managing expedites of key customers.   
•Plan and manage supply to meet demand requirements and ensure material availability.
•Develop alternate solutions to resolve exceptions or conflicts in schedule. Ensure stakeholders are aware of changes.
•Daily review of customer care reports to identify gaps between due date and projected date; and work with Order Management, Purchasing, and Production Schedulers to make adjustments (as needed) to meet objectives.    
•Periodic review of Order Reservations and prioritization.
•Data analysis to support material supply.
•Other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

•Must demonstrate critical/situational thinking - identify the problem, analyze options, and prepare solutions in a timely manner to minimize customer order delays or meet customer request dates. 
•Must demonstrate solid understanding of MRP. 
•Understanding of how demand and supply changes impact customer commitment.
•Fluency in English with good written and verbal communication skills is essential.
•Strong computer skills in MS Office Applications, particularly Excel (including Pivot Tables).
•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Good follow-up and follow through skills.
•Able to work well under pressure. Must be able to transition quickly between working independently and being a strong team player.
•Strong ability to set priorities and work efficiently.
•Project Management experience would be an asset.
•Strong understanding of engineering change processes and implementation.
