This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Our cutting-edge technology includes Lithium batteries, Fault Managed Power Systems, and Extended Run Time battery backup systems that improve the reliability and resiliency of broadband networks.

Compensation Range: 50,200-62,700 annually

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for shipping, quoting and tracking freight to and from Canada and US. Manage courier air and ground, carrier LTL, FTL and expedited ground shipments. Manage expedited air IPFS Fed-Ex shipments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Issue ship documents (packing slip and bill of lading) for within Canada or within US shipment
- Issue ship documents (packing slip, commercial invoice and bill of lading) for cross border shipments between Canada / US.
- Provide freight quotes for inbound / outbound, courier, FTL, LTL volume, FCL, LCL and inside delivery
- Arrange shipments for inbound / outbound, FTL, LTL, FCL, LCL, hot shot and inside delivery
- Tracking, POD and re-consignment of shipment in transit and shipment rescue as needed.
- Coordinate special pick up / delivery requirements
- Coordinate inside delivery for installers and coordinate pick up and delivery.
- Coordinate drop shipments from vendors Canada / US.
- Freight claim for inbound, outbound and 3PL warehouses
- Monitor shipment overage / shortage and notify the Customs specialist to make the necessary customs entry corrections and notify purchasing / OM of the shipment discrepancy.
- Transact credit and debit transactions as requested by OM / Purchasing and accounting.
- Code and approve all Freight invoices from Alpha / Enersys carriers.
- Work with carriers to resolve and provide missing documentation for shipments.
- Work with Alpha customs specialist to resolve all customs holds and answer customer questions regarding HS tariff code, COO, ECCN.
- Manage and issue documents for Transfer Orders between all Alpha managed warehouses.
- After shipment, doc track all PL / CI / BOL into Syteline
- After shipment for prepaid and charge orders, calculate freight charge to be applied and update in Syteline and advise accounting OK to invoice.
- Manage shipments via Alpha/Enersys routing, customer guide / customer portal routing and 3rd party routing
- Issue miscellaneous shipments for non customer order or purchase order shipments.
- Manage outbound and reverse logistics
Qualifications
- Knowledge of customs & trade compliance
- Minimum (2) years Logistics experience in a busy work environment.
- Training / experience in customer service
- Excellent English communication skills required (verbal and written)
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Flexible with the ability to multi-task
- Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel and database systems (Syteline knowledge is an asset)
- Ability to follow complex instructions
