Job Purpose

The Assembler at bren-Tronics, part of EnerSys and manufacture of advanced power solutions, will be responsible for assembling electronics components accurately according to specifications and quality requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform basic manual assembly with little or no special tools.
Assemble batteries, chargers and accessories following supervisor’s directions and work instructions.
Includes applying tape, heat shrink sleeve, hot melt glue cells, stripping wires, applying tie wraps.
Assist in applying labels to shipping boxes and/or pack products.
Maintain assigned safety equipment.
Maintain daily production quantity records.
Report anomalies and damaged equipment.
Consistently assemble daily expected quantities.

Qualifications

High School Diploma
1+ Experience in Assembling or related work
Good Hand/Eye Coordination for handling and assembling parts with precision.
Able to work in the production floor and comfortable to encounter electrical and mechanical components.

General Job Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
Must be able and willing to wear a respirator.
This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
