Job Purpose

The Continuous Improvement- Learning Solutions Developer will work with an interdisciplinary team to design and deliver training and educational resources to a global audience.  With a focus on reducing waste and improving efficiency, this position is a blend of working with technology, being creative and helping others apply continuous improvement tools across all areas of the business. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You will be working closely with both the training team and the continuous improvement team.  Responsibilities may include:

  • Creating engaging training content on implementing Lean and Sigma tools in office environments
  • Developing eLearning and/or video content on Lean and Sigma methodologies
  • Creating visuals and communication pieces to drive continuous improvement throughout the business
  • Interacting with subject matter experts (SMEs) to solicit improvement ideas, thoughts, and feedback
  • Conducting evaluations of existing training content to measure effectiveness and improve content
  • Assisting with planning, coordinating travel, and executing events for the Operations Leadership Development program
  • Working with the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator to maintain relevant content

Qualifications

Desired qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a program related to education, learning and development, marketing, communications, digital media, or similar
  • Experience with eLearning and/or graphic editing, authoring software Intermediate experience (1 – 3 years) with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Genially, Venngage/Canva, Camtasia, etc.)
  • Capability to manage a learning request (identification of learning objectives, through design, development, and delivery of the final product)
  • Knowledge of Learning Experience Design principles and Adult Learning Theory
  • Eagerness to learn and quick mastery of new skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communicator and creative problem solver
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in English
  • Must be able and willing to travel internationally
