Compensation Range: 36.73-50.00 hourly plus sales bonus

Job Purpose
Job Purpose
Under general direction of regional and operations managers, provide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services, in the assigned area against profitable margins and in line with the business plan, to continue to the realization of service-related sales and service targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment.
- Report all injuries or incidents involving subordinates.
- Develop and schedule projects to ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to warranty, safety, environmental, OSHA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO 9000 requirements.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and employees.
- Oversee the physical plant and service vehicles.
- Identify target end-user accounts and sell service programs.
- Manage customer relationships and resolve customer issues.
- Directly manage service employees, including training, performance reviews, recognition, goal setting, and salary administration.
- Maintain inventory control.
- Direct and perform equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Develop and deliver training on the safe operation of equipment and demonstrate skills to both employees and customers.
- Serve as a communication link between customers and the company to help ensure effective service delivery.
- Generate substantial annual revenue.
- Operate effectively with minimal supervision.
- Complete all required compliance and job-specific training.
- Supervise Field Support Technicians and/or Shop Technicians.
- Mentor new Field Supervisors.
Qualifications
Education
- College degree preferred; however, a High School Diploma or GED combined with relevant industry experience will be considered.
Experience
- Five years of industry-related experience.
- Two years of prior supervisory experience.
- Five or more years of customer service experience, including field support experience.
Other Requirements
- Ability to work at a customer site.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Ability to solve mathematical equations and troubleshoot problems.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Experience using test equipment and reading electrical schematics.
- Experience with ERP/SAP systems is a plus.
- College degree in a related field.
General Job Requirements
- Must be able and willing to do overnight travel
- Must be able and willing to operate a forklift.
- This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
- Must be able to differentiate colors.
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis. Anything heavier will be done with the assistance of a mechanical device or with the assistance of another employee.
- Must be able and willing to be on-call.
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Risk of electrical shock.
- This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
- This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
