Job Purpose
EnerSys is currently looking for a Key Account Manager to cover the Helsinki region in Finland. Ideally, you would be based in or around Helsinki.
Your role will be to implement the sales strategy defined at both national and European levels. You will be responsible for prospecting, leading negotiations, and ensuring margin targets are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a customer portfolio (end customers and partners, such as OEM manufacturers, distributors and dealer networks)
- Identify new business opportunities and grow your customer network
- Promote sales and ensure the best possible overall solution for customers using our wide product portfolio
- Be responsible for the full sales process, including pricing, proposals and contract negotiations
- Plan and organize your work independently (customer visits, opportunity management and prioritization)
- Monitor your performance (revenue, margin and success rate) and adapt your approach as needed
- Build strong customer relationships and identify long-term business opportunities
- Manage administrative follow-up (quotations, order tracking, invoicing coordination, payment follow-up)
Your Profile
- Relevant education (commercial or technical) or equivalent
- Fluent in Finnish, with a good level of English. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B field sales, preferably in an industrial or technical environment
- Experience in independently managing a sales territory
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work with different stakeholders (customers, partners, manufacturers)
- Basic technical understanding of batteries or electrical engineering is considered an advantage
- Good ability to use Excel and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
