Job Description: 

EnerSys provides various store energy solutions for industrial applications worldwide.  The company offers energy systems, which combine enclosures, power conversion, power distribution, and energy storage are used in the telecommunication, broadband and utility industries, uninterruptible power supplies, and other applications requiring stored energy solutions; motive power batteries and chargers that are utilized in electric forklift trucks and other industrial electric powered vehicles; and specialty batteries, which are used in aerospace and defense applications, large over-the-road trucks, automotive, medical, and security systems applications.  It also provides battery chargers, power equipment, battery accessories, and outdoor equipment enclosure solutions; and aftermarket and customer support services. The company sells its batteries under the PowerSafe, DataSafe, Hawker, Genesis, Odyssey, Cyclon, IRONCLAD, General Battery, Fiamm Motive Power, Oldham, Express, and NexSys brands.  The company was formerly known as Yuasa, Inc.  and changed its name to EnerSys in January 2001.  EnerSys was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania. 

Job Purpose

Enersys currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Key Account Manager OEM/OES EMEA.  Our Key Account Manager OEM/OES EMEA position is a high potential role requiring the demonstrated skills and drive to successfully lead the accounts to consistent and diversified revenue and market share growth.

The Key Account Manager OEM/OES EMEA position requires the ability to closely work within the accounts at all levels of contact to identify and explore, drive customer engagement, and ultimately transform Enersys into a Keyplayer within the automotive environmental.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute on a strategic account growth plan; collaborate across Enersys teams to develop, update, communicate and implement the account vision & strategic plan
  • Provide account leadership overseeing delivery of all products and services
  • Establish high customer satisfaction and scale for growth
  • Oversee all customer activities
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and partnership
  • Leverage the Enersys full portfolio of products and services to provide meaningful customer solutions
  • Expand the OEM/OES customer foot print
  • Attaining sales, Service, and signed contract quotas as assigned; Identifying and profiling potential accounts
  • Designing and presenting presentations to meet customers’ needs
  • Maintaining close contact with all internal and external stake holders
  • Working with company sales and service network to properly maintain accounts
  • Support cross functional activities

Qualifications

  • University degree 
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Key Account Management preferably in the automotive OEM/OES segment
  • Quantified accomplishment in growing account revenue
  • Strong client relationship management skills, good communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled in establishing and executing account plans that cover strategies in marketing and sales, relationship development
  • good written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • problem solving oriented, structured working approach
  • Language skills: English, German and other is a plus 

General Job Requirements

  • Must be able and willing to be on-call.
  • This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
  • Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Additional Job Requirements

This position requires 60 to 70 percent travel activity
