Compensation Range: $45,500 - $68,100 

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.  

 

The hours for this position are: 1:00pm-11:00pm

Job Purpose

To develop, optimize, document and implement cost-effective manufacturing processes.
.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and quality documents
  • Improve existing manufacturing processes
  • Train operators and technicians on new procedures
  • Research new manufacturing technologies
  • Develop and perform test procedures and produce reports for new parts or processes.
  • Use statistical process control tools to track and improve processes, including metrics, data collection, and analysis (i.e. Cpk Analysis)
  • Develop maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for tools and equipment
  • Evaluate production costs, support development, optimization and documentation to maintain a lean manufacturing
  • Makes recommendations and implement process improvements
  • Identifying problems, creating choices and providing alternative courses of action.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to work our swing shift 1:00pm to 11:00pm

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A.A. in Engineering discipline preferred
  • Ability to think and reason independently, with minimal supervisory assistance.
  • Ability to write reports.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in the manufacturing process.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office applications, with proficiency in WORD and EXCEL.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Effective analytical and problems solving skills.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Ability to communicate new concepts effectively
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks or CAD desired

General Job Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors.
  • This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
  • Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime.
  • Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
