Job Purpose

To provide product and commercial marketing support to the APAC and EMEA MP regions.

Partnering closely with the wider MP Marketing team, Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Quality and Customer Experience teams to proficiently utilize and report data (market and competitive intelligence) to better understand customer pain points, formulate business requirements and prioritise solutions to influence and support the direction of MP product marketing and development.
The FMM will support all product and commercial marketing related tasks throughout both regions, helping to make sure that all product lines and associated materials are consolidated, streamlined, and made visible.

This role will need to coordinate, drive and support the EMEA MP Sr Marketing Manager to implement go-to-market launches, creating sales enablement and training decks, facilitating case studies and meeting with product owners to understand and present roadmaps which will strategically position our product offering based on current market demand and future trends.

The role will be based in Europe and flexible working hours will be taken into consideration to accommodate the relevant time zones to fulfil the role requirements.

Tasks / Accountabilities:

Product Marketing         

Own the development and evolution of APAC and EMEA product positioning, to include our value propositions, pricing, messaging and marketing execution in alignment with our Challenger Sales messaging. Set product marketing priorities for both regions, liaise with local teams and build strong relationships with Global peers such as Commercial Marketing and Product/Application Managers to develop and scale collateral to deliver against these priorities. Develop and implement product marketing and commercial plans for new and existing lines by working with the wider MP Marketing team to include the development of compelling application-specific solutions and other appropriate initiatives.

Market Intelligence       

Work with the MP Commercial Marketing team and local Sales teams to prioritize, distill and surface market intelligence to develop a deeper understanding of the markets, target audiences and personas in order to shape future advertising of products for both APAC and EMEA MP. Adapt regional product initiatives for both markets whilst still ensuring global alignment.

Internal communications            

Engage the relevant APAC and EMEA internal stakeholders to create and maintain message maps that are specific to all areas of the MP business. These should be used to support the creative development of external content via our Global Content Calendar, to promote 2-way communication and best practice idea sharing across both regions.

Marketing literature and collateral         

Support marketing and commercial teams on a project-by-project basis to rationalize and develop APAC and EMEA Marketing literature (such as, sales brochures, manuals, technical data sheets, etc.) and liaise with the EMEA MP Translation Lead on the required language translations to ensure sales readiness via up-to-date product marketing materials.

Local marketing activities and projects 

Work with local APAC and EMEA points of contact and wider MP marketing team to develop and deliver specific approved local marketing activities and specific projects as and when required.

Work Experience and Education

Work experience           

Minimum of 4-years’ experience working within a Field-based / Product Marketing, Sales or MarCom’s role and ideally within Asia-Pacific and European markets. Relevant product and industry knowledge would be a benefit but is not essential.

Education          

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional certification.

Skills Required

Languages         

Excellent spoken and written English is expected, as a minimum. At least one major European or Asia-Pacific language is a benefit, but not essential.

Communication skills    

Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation skills are essential.

Must be able to communicate at all levels within business and adapt their approach depending on the audience.

Marketing competence

Experience in all aspects of developing and delivering product and commercial marketing initiatives. Global product launch experience along with project management skills would be a benefit but is not essential.
