Job Purpose
The EMEA& APAC IMS Marketing Assistant will support the regional marketing function with the coordination of marketing projects, mainly development, and delivery of marketing materials, campaigns, events and other marketing activities. Working under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager and alongside the wider Marketing team, the role will provide day-to-day marketing support to Sales, Product Management and Service teams across EMEA& APAC. The role will also assist with localisation of global and regional marketing content and coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies and service providers as required
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Assistant: Assist with developing, updating and maintaining marketing materials in conjunction with Sales, Service and Product Management teams. Support the localisation of globally and regionally developed content and materials for EMEA/APAC markets. Assist with coordinating translation validation, maintaining validator lists and supporting relationships with internal validators. Assist with internal bulletins relating to literature and translations, monthly reporting and marketing campaign communications as required
- Collateral Development: Support the development and production of marketing materials and campaign assets, including maintaining project timelines, tracking progress and approvals, and recording budget information using departmental systems such as Smartsheet and Monday.com
- Product / Promotional Inventory & Maintenance: Support the day-to-day maintenance of promotional inventory through the EMEA online portal and coordinate requirements with relevant vendors. Publish and maintain approved collateral and other marketing materials across websites and internal online platforms
- Event Coordination & Support: Support the planning and delivery of marketing-led events, including tradeshows, meetings and customer events. Assist with coordinating internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure products, materials, displays and other requirements are delivered on time. Attend and support key EMEA/APAC events and tradeshows as required
- Campaign Support: Support the delivery of regional marketing campaigns across relevant channels. Assist with campaign administration, content coordination, lead management and reporting. Track agreed campaign metrics and provide updates to the wider Marketing team. Contribute ideas and suggestions to support future marketing activities
- Agency & Vendor Support: Support the Marketing team in coordinating activities with external agencies, suppliers and service providers. Assist with preparing briefs, supplying content and assets, coordinating feedback and approvals, and tracking the delivery of agreed marketing materials
- Sales and Service Support: Support Sales and Service teams by assisting with the development, updating and distribution of marketing materials, training materials and other tools as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience: Previous marketing experience, including internships, placements or relevant academic/project experience, would be advantageous but is not essential. This role is suitable for graduates and candidates at the beginning of their marketing career. Experience working or studying in an international environment and/or exposure to translation or localisation activities would be advantageous
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant education/experience
- Language: Fluency in oral and written English required; an additional language(s), especially German, French, Italian, Polish, or Dutch, is desirable but not required
Preferred Skills
- Digital / IT Literacy Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and confidence using digital communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams. Willingness and ability to learn new systems and marketing tools, including Smartsheet, Monday.com and SharePoint.
- Content & Proofreading Good attention to detail with an interest in content development and proofreading. Ability to review marketing materials for accuracy and consistency and willingness to develop an understanding of how technical product information is communicated to customers.
- Graphic Design Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools would be advantageous. Willingness to learn how to make simple updates to existing marketing materials.

Able to work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance when required. Demonstrates initiative, reliability and a proactive approach to supporting the wider Marketing team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to communicate professionally with colleagues, suppliers and internal stakeholders across different countries and functions. Able to work collaboratively as part of an international team.
- Curious and willing to contribute ideas, with a practical approach to problem solving. Able to prioritise assigned tasks and adapt to changing requirements within a busy international Marketing team.
