This position will be focusing primarily on our Energy Systems line of business, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.

 

Job Purpose

Reporting to the IT Support Lead UK, the IT Support Specialist will support end users across infrastructure and business applications as part of the EMEA team. The role covers four UK offices and remote support across EMEA, with UK travel expected once per quarter

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting end user Windows and MS Application support
  • Providing local IT Support at UK Locations
  • PC/Laptop/Mobile installation and configuration
  • User Account Management and Networking
  • Ensuring calls/tickets are managed in accordance with procedures and SLA

Skills / Experience / Qualifications requirement

  • Advanced IT knowledge with strong experience in computer hardware and Windows operating systems
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows 11 or completion of Windows 11 support training
  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification (or equivalent knowledge/experience with IT service management best practices)
  • Windows operating systems and Active Directory experience essential
  • Knowlegde / understanding of IT support processes
  • Must have a valid driving license
