This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Job Purpose
EnerSys is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance across our field service operations. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving a proactive safety culture, reducing risk, and empowering employees to keep safety front and center in everything we do.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and implement EHS programs that meet OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site visits, audits, and inspections.
- Deliver safety training, orientations, and coaching.
- Oversee incident investigations, corrective/preventive actions, and reporting.
- Champion emergency preparedness, including CPR/AED readiness.
- Monitor and report safety KPIs.
- Partner with field service leaders to strengthen safety culture.
Qualifications
• 2–5 years of supervisory/management experience in EHS or related roles.
• Field service, electrical, or construction background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment and Travel
Office-based with frequent travel to service sites and customer locations. Overnight travel required for audits, training, and customer visits.
