Job Purpose

**Schedule: 2nd shift**

Radiographer II provides Non-destructive Testing (NDT) Level II Radiography (RT), real time x-ray services and supports production and development programs to ensure all products meet manufacturing specifications and requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Radiographer (RT), real time x-ray experience.
  • Shall have knowledge of real time x-ray equipment and imaging software, radiographic interpretations.
  • Perform Real-time X-Rays on products and components per existing Procedures and Operating Instructions for internal and external customers.
  • Assist in training, qualifying and certifying NDT inspection personnel.
  • Write NDT Procedures.
  • Develop NDT X-ray inspection techniques.
  • Support manufacturing operation level procedures, inspection techniques.
  • Support NDT investigations, perform inspections and participate in supplier audits if required.

Qualifications

  • H.S Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred.
  • Certification to ASNT, NAS 410 as applicable to internal processes
  • Familiar with quality system requirements (AS9100, ISO9001, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills, including navigating within a Windows operating environment and use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel, are considered essential.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications.
