Job Purpose

Perform and control audit examinations at assigned locations under the direction of the Sr. Director Internal Audit which support and enforce SOX and comply with corporate policy, laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this higher level audit role, the qualified individual will have a comprehensive grasp of manufacturing accounting gained through actual experience. This extensive experience will allow for a very high degree of autonomy in duties and responsibilities. Additionally, associates at this level will, at times, direct activities of other individuals within the department.
Perform and control audit examinations.
Work to develop accounting controls that are effective in promoting efficiency and protectingthe assets of the company.
Ensure financial statements and reports comply with corporate policy, laws and regulations.
Support SOX 404 operational compliance.
Develop and write comprehensive reports outlining findings and providing analysis andrecommendations for improvement.
A primary duty is to exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with criticalmatters within the Internal Audit department.
Limited supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in accounting, finance or related field with 4-6 years public accounting experience.
CPA, CA (or equivalent) and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
5+ years of well-rounded experience in manufacturing accounting.
Fluency in English required.
Occasional travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications

Fluency in Spanish a plus.
