Job Purpose

The Salesforce Business Administrative Analyst is a business resource that serves as a liaison between the business customers of sales and service and the technical development team. This person must demonstrate the ability to participate in business requirement gathering sessions, prioritize the differing requests from the business, and have a strong ability to analyze business requests. The scope of work for this individual covers the stages of requirements gathering, testing, and training an initiative. This person will report to the Commercial Marketing Director and will work with business stakeholders for Motive Power and the IT Salesforce Program Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in maintaining an implemented platform design.
  • Represent the Americas Motive Power business in weekly Governance sessions.
  • Gather and prioritize new requirements from Americas Motive Power stakeholders.
  • Liaise with SMEs and Users, such as sales reps and central management.
  • Maintain data.
  • Work with Americas Motive Power stakeholders to draft business requirements.
  • Develop and manage Salesforce dashboards, reports, forms, and templates as necessary.
  • Recommend changes in product, process, and service improvement and present high-level benefits of recommendation, and explains the rationale for selection over alternative solutions.
  • Document business process aspects across Motive Power as needed.
  • Lead training sessions of new users.
  • Demo product for customers and users.
  • Identify and communicate new business opportunities and gaps to target.
  • Facilitate effective knowledge transfer and proactive collaboration to drive success and efficiency in America's sales.
  • Leverage Salesforce for reporting, sales facilitation, and competitive analysis.
  • Design and generate reports and statistics that support better decision-making and process improvement within the organization - including sales forecasting, win/loss analysis, market trend analysis, etc.
  • Work with end users to provide best practices and tips on Salesforce usage including training, documentation, and support.
  • Analyze the case queue for all Motive Power Americas requests to address or escalate further to the Sales Force development team for prioritization.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must maintain sufficient business and technical expertise so as to be comfortable communicating business and technical requirements.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Flexible and able to quickly act under pressure
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks
  • Excellent time management and organization skills, with ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Proven ability to conduct effective meetings and presentations

Preferred Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce administration; security, standard objects, reports/dashboards, Chatter, Knowledge, Communities, data management and sandbox environments
  • 2+ years of experience with, or similar CRM Experience


  • 4-year degree plus 4 years of business and/or Salesforce experience minimum.


  • Hybrid- EnerSys Corporate Office preferred- 2 days- but would consider other locations for the right person.
