This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which serves the telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Job Purpose
A Team Manager directly supervises all associates in departments as assigned and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, safety and evaluation of all associates on one shift. Manages by following company policies established by Human Resources, Engineering, Quality and applicable laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
B-shift, position
- Supervise associates to achieve accuracy and on time shipping requirements.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain inventory goals as assigned and to minimize excess obsolete inventory.
- Order, expedite and receive production materials both internal and external.
- Resolve vendor related problems as they arise to ensure a consistent flow of materials.
- Follow shipping schedules, plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines.
- Prioritize work to follow shipping schedule.
- Schedule team members to achieve maximum labor efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Maintain plant security, recordkeeping, and reporting duties in order to minimize any security violations.
- Ability to work overtime, holidays, and weekends when scheduled. Must be punctual and have the ability to work any assigned shift.
- Administer all company safety policies and procedures. Consistently interpret and apply policies.
- Review and approve team member production and work records.
- Traverse to all facility locations inside and outside the facility.
- Demonstrate a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.
- Ability to resolve issues and minimize conflict in a fast-paced time urgent work environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years manufacturing experience with at least two (2) years in a distribution or parts center.
- At least two (2) years of supervisory experience is required in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
Computer Skills: Requires proficient computer skills. Ability to use standard Microsoft office software, email, and time keeping systems. Knowledge of spreadsheets and inventory software.
