Job Purpose

Now hiring 2nd Shift.

The Assembly Team Lead assists in maintaining production schedules, finding efficiencies, ensures product quality and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in training, development, and monitoring of department team members for safety, product quality, regulatory requirements and production efficiencies.
  • Assist in providing leadership and direction to all department members.
  • Monitor the manufacturing operation to ensure safety, product quality and production efficiency.
  • Review and monitor line set-up and change-over for efficiency.
  • Coordinate production schedule to assure timely manufacturing.
  • Assist and support all problem-solving teams.
  • Assure proper set-up and communication for shift changes.
  • Perform and maintain daily housekeeping, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures.
  • Communicate to Supervisors/Managers any observed safety violation, inappropriate production methods and/or any actions that compromise quality in the department.
  • Support EOS Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Follow established Company standards and guidelines.
  •  Other duties as assigned by the Assembly Manager.


  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution and one (1) year of modular charger and/or battery manufacturing experience required.   
  •  Ability to read, write, speak and understand standard business English is required.
  • Ability to work with and apply basic mathematical functions such as fractions, division, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to use standard office software
  • Ability to use deductive reasoning for trouble shooting
  • Ability to analyze production schedules, reports, shipping documents and inventory control
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Good communication and follow through skills.

General Job Requirements

  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
  • Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.
  • This position requires working in a plant/warehouse environment. Therefore, expect varying working conditions.
