Job Purpose
The National Account Manager will be responsible for consistently exceeding sales targets through strategic retention, growth, and proactive prospecting of national accounts across Mexico. This role requires strong solution-based selling skills, the ability to navigate complex account needs, develop customized solutions, build strong relationships, and deliver business value to customers. The role is home-office based and supports the Motive Power division's major customers, driving EnerSys' continued leadership in the Mexican market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Consistently exceed sales targets through strategic account retention, growth, and proactive prospecting.
- Apply advanced sales acumen to translate technical solutions into business value and ROI for key decision-makers.
- Develop and present tailored proposals, pricing strategies, and case studies that drive long-term customer success.
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with end-users by aligning solutions with their strategic goals.
- Identify and influence key customer stakeholders to drive alignment, build consensus, and accelerate deal closure.
- Support and develop large end-user accounts through strategic guidance, training, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Navigate complex sales challenges using strategic thinking and collaborative problem-solving.
- Maintain deep product and market knowledge through continuous learning and active industry engagement.
- Exercise sound judgment in managing critical business matters and contribute to broader sales initiatives as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
At least 5+ years of technical sales experience managing larger B2B accounts.
Language Skills:
Fluent in Spanish.
Professional proficiency in English.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to develop pricing strategies, analyze return on investment (ROI), and manage financial proposals.
Reasoning Ability:
Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Familiarity with virtual meeting tools (Teams, Zoom).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license required.

Must meet company driving requirements.

Experience in the material handling or industrial equipment industry is a plus.
TRAVEL REQUIRED:
Yes. Regular travel within Mexico to support national accounts. Occasional international travel may be required for training or corporate meetings.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full-time position.
Days and hours of work must align with local labor laws (LFT).
Role may require occasional overtime, weekend work, or travel during non-standard hours.
