Job Purpose

The primary focus of this position is to support and maintain the EnerSys global HRIS (SuccessFactors) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team.  The Senior HRIS Analyst will be the technical point of contact across multiple functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, implementation, system support, system releases and testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing business and data flows for process improvement opportunities.  The Senior HRIS analyst also supports other technical projects as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Production Support: Provide support for all HR Systems, including researching and resolving issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions or alternate methods. Understand strategic and functional intentions for EnerSys HRIS solutions.

System Releases: Review, test, and implement HRIS releases. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate upgrades or fixes. Document processes and results.

Implementation: Support future application projects through requirement gathering, documentation, business process mapping and design, data conversions, system configurations, testing, deployment, cutover coordination, training, and post-go-live stabilization.

Data Integrity: Evaluate system data for consistency, accuracy, security, and integrity. Engage stakeholders to resolve data integrity issues and pursue continuous improvements and global standardization for supported SAP SuccessFactors modules.

Reports/Queries: Write, maintain, and support reports and queries using appropriate tools; develop standard reports and dashboards for analysis and ongoing needs. Maintain data integrity via audit queries and analysis.

Projects/Process Improvements: Manage projects and process improvements using change management. Identify issues, problems, and opportunities. Recommend process improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes, or major deviations requiring leadership approval. Compare data from multiple sources to inform decisions. Build project plans, ensure schedule adherence, and coordinate with customers and peers. Serve as key liaison with third parties and stakeholders (e.g., Learning, IT). Follow SOX guidelines and Lean methodologies.

Change Management: Partner with Learning to develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Communicate system enhancements/fixes to stakeholders. Collaborate with HR SMEs to refine requirements and implement solutions. Anticipate customer needs, monitor trends, and recommend enhancements; provide technical advice to improve processes.

Mentor: Guide and support team members.

Specifics: Supported Regions: Global. Primary Modules: Recruiting Management, Recruiting Marketing, Onboarding/Crossboarding/Offboarding, Succession, Career Development Planning (CDP), Employee Central (EC). Primary contact for technical support, enhancements, and release management. Technical SME for Data Analytics and Advanced Reporting; ensure data connections are accurate. Secondary Modules: Performance Management (PM), Goals Management (GM), Continuous Performance Management (CPM), Compensation and Variable Pay, Job Profile Builder, Position Management. Support and back up primary analyst fully.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or at least 5 years of work-related experience.
  • Expert experience with HRIS systems to include configuration, testing, reporting, implementation, and maintenance. 
  • At least 3 years of configuration and testing experience in SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Subject matter expert for Advanced Reporting and PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors cloud application, specifically Succession, Career Development Planning, and Employee Central.
  • Understand relation of data within Employee Central and how it relates to other modules.
  • One to two years of project management experience.
  • Experience with successfully working in a fast-paced environment, supporting 5,000+ employees.
  • Competent computer skills in MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Learning, Performance Management, Goals Management, and Continuous Performance Management modules.
  • Knowledge of Integration Center and CPI.
  • Knowledge of cloud Payroll and Time & Attendance applications.
  • Knowledge of human resources regulations; state and federal employment law.
  • Ability to work independently and recommend industry best practices based on business requirements.
