Job Purpose

This position will support our plant employees on 3rd shift at plant 2 located at 1320 N Alliance, Springfield, MO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete prompt Incident investigations for all near misses, first aid cases and OSHA recordables.
  • Support and oversee the completion of hand and shower checks on 3rd shift.
  • Support and manage blood lead counseling’s on all employees for 3rd shift.
  • Carry out hygiene checks such as respirator wipe checks and post shower checks.
  • Enforce, in conjunction with Supervisors, the use of the correct PPE.
  • Carry out all annual trainings for 3rd shift.
  • Carry out Lead in air sampling.
  • Complete audits and compliance related tasks.
  • Facilitate needed trainings and safety related meetings for employees.
  • MUST be able to work with little to no supervision

MUST have prior EH&S experience


HSD or equivalent

A minimum of 2 years Environmental Health & Safety experience
