This position will be focusing primarily on our Reserve Power applications, which include telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities and switchgear, security, emergency lighting and general electronics. Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.


Job Purpose

Performs general warehouse tasks that may include receiving, shipping, stocking, issuing, cycle counting and other warehouse related tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supports a specific discipline within the warehouse area under general supervision, including pulling for the line, restocking the material locations, maintaining kan bans, cycle counting, and data entry
  • Verifies inventory integrity by cycle counting with a strong math aptitude
  • Enters data in MRP system accurately
  • Completes various material documentation specific to assigned area
  • Operates inventory equipment; such as forklifts when necessary
  • Develops basic understanding of Alpha's inventory system and material flow throughout the facility
  • Meets Alpha Efficiency and QA Standards.
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with internal and external customers
  • Process small packages via shipping software and required documentation
  • Supports FIFO (First in/First out) program
  • Maintains bin accuracy by conducting Bin Audits
  • Assists in quality and productivity improvement activities
  • Assists in training new employees
  • Assists in researching inventory discrepancies and finding the root causes
  • Skilled in both loading and unloading product into trailers and containers


High School Diploma or equivalent

Less than 1 year experience
