Job Purpose

The Territory Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for developing and managing strategic accounts, driving sales growth, and supporting customer needs across battery, charger, and UPS solutions. The role requires a consultative sales approach and a deep understanding of the business drivers in our core markets.

Note: Due to the customer base, the ideal candidate should reside in or near St. Laurent, QC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle within assigned markets to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans, including product pricing strategies and forecasting.
  • Build long-term partnerships with key customers through strategic engagement and support.
  • Conduct customer visits, professional sales presentations, and participate in trade shows.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations and integrate solutions.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide product demonstrations, manage delivery updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate market trends and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering or Business).
  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably involving complex buying groups.
  • Proven ability to adapt messaging to diverse customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated technical curiosity and aptitude for understanding complex products or solutions.
  • Confident, consultative approach to sales with a strong foundation in service/solution selling.
  • Open-minded and coachable, with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (bilingual proficiency required).

Driving / Travel Requirements

  • Valid drivers license.
    • Position is eligible for vehicle allowance.
  • Daily travel within the designated territory (St. Laurent, QC).
  • Occasional out-of-town and inter-provincial travel (3–5 days per month).

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales training background with a consultative, solution-based approach.
  • Demonstrated technical curiosity and adaptability.
  • Relevant industry or adjacent sector experience (e.g., Industrial, Power, Telecom, Data Center, OEM-related).
  • Background in formal sales training.

General Job Requirements

  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
  • This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products. Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead. Precautions are taken by the company/employee to reduce the risk of exposure and help ensure everyones safety.
  • Risk of electrical shock.
  • Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times.

Remarque : Compte tenu de la clientèle, le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) doit résider à Saint-Laurent, au Québec, ou dans les environs.

Qualifications

Principales responsabilités:
  • Gérer l'intégralité du cycle de vente sur les marchés assignés afin d'atteindre les objectifs trimestriels et annuels.
  • Élaborer et exécuter des plans d'affaires territoriaux, incluant des stratégies de tarification et des prévisions de produits.
  • Établir des partenariats durables avec des clients clés grâce à un engagement et un soutien stratégiques.
  • Organiser des visites clients, des présentations commerciales professionnelles et participer à des salons professionnels.
  • Coordonner les équipes interfonctionnelles pour répondre aux attentes des clients et intégrer les solutions.
  • Répondre aux demandes de renseignements, proposer des démonstrations de produits, gérer les mises à jour des livraisons et garantir la satisfaction client.
  • Communiquer les tendances du marché et les retours clients aux parties prenantes internes.

Qualifications requises

  • Baccalauréat (de préférence en ingénierie ou en commerce).
  • 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en vente interentreprises, de préférence auprès de groupes d'achat complexes.
  • Capacité avérée à adapter les messages aux différents intervenants de la clientèle.
  • Curiosité technique démontrée et aptitude à comprendre des produits ou des solutions complexes.
  • Approche de vente confiante et consultative, avec une solide base en vente de services et de solutions.
  • Ouverture d'esprit, aptitude au coaching et orientation vers la croissance.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication verbale et écrite, tant en français qu'en anglais (bilingue requis).

Exigences en matière de déplacements

  • Permis de conduire valide.
    • Le poste donne droit à une allocation véhicule.
  • Déplacements quotidiens sur le territoire désigné (Saint-Laurent, Québec).
  • Déplacements occasionnels à l'extérieur de la ville et entre les provinces (3 à 5 jours par mois).

Qualifications souhaitées
