Job Purpose

The IT Specialist I provides frontline technical support and technology services that enable efficient business operations across manufacturing and office environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and mobile devices.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, peripherals, and software.
• Administer user accounts and access permissions.
• Manage IT service tickets and documentation.
• Support onboarding and equipment provisioning.
• Assist with cybersecurity, patching, and endpoint management.
• Support basic networking and connectivity.
• Maintain technical documentation and training materials.
• Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• One year of IT support experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft
