Job Purpose
Responsible for leading cross-functional teams to successfully execute existing programs and new product introduction (NPI) projects. Monitors program performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), manages risks and corrective actions, and serves as the primary interface for customer communications and program reviews. Ensures compliance with contractual and quality management system requirements while driving accountability, continuous improvement, and achievement of business objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads program Integrated Product Team (IPT) ensuring alignment of technical, operational, quality, and business objectives.
- Monitors program-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess overall program health and drives corrective actions to address performance gaps and risks.
- Works closely with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to coordinate priorities, resources, and issue resolution.
- Facilitates customer interactions and program reviews, including status meetings, technical reviews, and milestone reviews (PDR, CDR, MRR, PRR, etc.).
- Provides management with regular updates regarding program performance, risks, schedule status, financial impacts, and other urgent matters.
- Supports AS9100 and ISO 13485 compliance activities and auditing.
- Fosters a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Initiates, plans, executes, and monitors new project development (NPI).
- Collaborates with technical, contracts, and business development teams to support Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and customer proposals.
- Reviews contracts and customer requirements to identify changes in scope, deliverables, reference documents, compliance requirements, and other contractual obligations.
- Ensures contractual commitments and customer requirements are understood and effectively communicated to the IPT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or closely related discipline, or equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge acquired through experience and/or other training.
- At least 2 years for experience in Engineering, Project Management, or Government Contract Administration or related environment.
- Must speak fluent English and be comfortable presenting to small to medium sized audiences both virtually and in-person.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles. Experience with earned value management (EVM) is preferred.
- Statistical analysis proficiency is required; must be able to make sound business decisions based on available information and facts.
- Proficient and Microsoft Office 365.
- PMP Preferred.
